Fall Family Photos

Family photos always stress me out!  This year I knew I wanted to mix lots of colors and patterns in our outfits.  So after buying double outfits for everyone, I finally landed on the perfect four and made lots of  return trips to stores.
Briana with Shades of Gray Photography did an awesome job capturing our family!!  Sylvie started off shy with someone other than me behind the camera, then quickly got out of it and worked it like normal.  Please note how she kept holding her tunic out like it was a princess dress in half the photos.  I about died when I realized she'd been doing that!  Such a ham! We warned Briana she wouldn't be able to get a grin out of Magnus and she proved us wrong!  He was a wild man and did not really want to be still but his personality ended up really shining through.
Here are just a few (a ton) of my favorites!!

Merry Merry Christmas

We had a WONDERFUL Christmas full of family, laughter, excitement and a lotta love!
Christmas Eve was spent with my side of the family at our home.  It was so fun to host and all of the kids were beyond excited to get the holiday started.  After the fun filled day we squeezed in a nap for Magnus then headed to Christmas Eve service where the kids got to participate by being angles and shepherds.
I loved the joy of the kids running down the steps Christmas morning to see what Santa had brought for them!  Magnus just followed Sylvie's lead and jumped right in!
Next we packed up and headed down to Windsor for the Erdmann family Christmas!  The kids were pros at opening presents by this point.  It could not have been a more perfect Christmas!

Halloween 2014

Man it was a crazy fall!  Since my goal for 2015 was do a better job of keeping up with this blog AKA my digital photo album….I better back it up a bit and catch up with all the Fall holidays before diving into our adventures of 2015!
Sylvie of course wanted to be Elsa for Halloween….DONE!  Already had the dress from her birthday party :)  So since I feel this could be the last year Magnus doesn't care and I get to dress these two in coordinating costumes, it was obvious Mag needed to be Olaf.  He made the best Olaf and loved his big warm costume!  We hit up our block for trick or treating.  Sylvie loved getting to knock on the doors and Magnus was hysterical and totally acted like he knew what he was doing.  He just followed Sylvie right up to every door and though he couldn't talk, held out his candy bag to be filled!
