If it ain't pumpkin we don't want it

It's that time of year….PUMPKIN EVERYTHING!!!  So far we've made pumpkin pancakes and pumpkin ravioli, drank pumpkin spice lattes, chowed down on pumpkin doughnuts, pumpkin yogurt, pumpkin cream cheese and pumpkin bars, drank plenty of pumpkin beer, and last but not least enjoyed some pumpkin ice cream.  The only thing left to do was head out to the good old pumpkin patch and follow it up with some family carving!

Chase

Sylvie's new favorite game is "chase".  This involves running from the front door across the yard to a tree known as "base" then back again.  She dictates when you can run, when you can be on base, how fast you can run, who is it, and when you can tag.  Miss bossy pants.  She basically giggles the entire time that she's not giving directions.  During Mag's morning nap we got a quick game in to start the day today!  Happy Monday!

A Frozen 4th Sylvie style

Sylvie turned 4, I can't even believe I'm seriously typing that!!  Her request was to have 2 parties, a Frozen Elsa party and a Unicorn party…we compromised by having one epic Frozen party!  Unicorn party plans are underway for the big 5, unless Disney has another hit between now and then :)

She was decked out in full on Elsa attire complete with a french braid and crown.  Everything was silver glitter and shades of blue with as many snowflakes as possible.  After a rocky start (see below photo) Sylvie had the best time playing with all her friends and family and woke up the next day wanting to do it all over again saying "It's kinda chilly outside.  It's a great day for a Frozen birthday party!"  Ha!  I think that means she loved it!

And for the actual birthday we started off the morning with the traditional age shaped orange rolls and presents!!  This gal has the best bed head and these pics prove it!  The past 4 years with our Sylvie have been full of love and laughter!  This spunky, sassy, optimistic sweet & sour, beautiful inside and out lady makes everyday better than the one before!
