This year's Easter was so big it's going to take 2 separate posts! We kicked off the weekend with a trip to the Easter bunny with the cousins. I thought Magnus would freak out since he is such a mommy's boy, but instead he loved it! He just sat there on the bunny's lap and kept looking at him and smiled like it was no big deal. Vivi however was terrified, and I don't blame her! That bunny was creepy!
Friday night we headed down to Windsor to spend some time with Cole's family. Saturday was packed with crazy amounts of Easter fun! We attended the Easter parade, followed by the town Easter egg hunt and play time at the park. Windsor really knows how to do a holiday!! Sylvie loved the parade and loved running to collect all the candy that was thrown. She ran like the wind for the egg hunt, stopping here and there to observe everyone else. Magnus refused to nap while in Windsor so his mood was iffy and therefore was hard to snap a pic of.
Nancy and Erggy decided to surprise Sylvie the Princess with her 1st bike! It's quite possibly the most gotti Disney Princess bike I've ever seen, complete with a matching bell and helmet, but my lord she LOVES it! Her face says it all! She spent the rest of the day Saturday riding laps around their driveway all smiles!
We ended the day with a trip to the farm where a little fishing was done, minus actually catching a fish. Sylvie and Mag love watching all the cows and riding in the truck. Sylvie kept insisting on holding the big fishing pole herself and I think found it pretty anticlimactic when no fish ever surfaced. Either way the farm is one of her fav places to go!
